Howard Landscape and Lawn Care

The problem:
For over 45 years, my family’s landscape business had built a reputation rooted in quality craftsmanship and personal service. But for decades, they didn’t have a website (gasp!). As the business transitioned to the younger generation, we saw an opportunity to position the company for growth with a clean, unified brand across web and print. The goal was to showcase the stellar craftsmanship they bring to every project while creating a modern presence that reflected where the company was headed.

The solution:
I unified the brand across print and web with an unexpected navy and gold palette that gives the company a polished, distinctive feel. Rather than relying on the typical greens of the landscaping industry, I let the work itself bring the color by putting project photography front and center across the website and brochure.

I also reworked the website’s navigation and information architecture so services and current projects are easy to find from the homepage. Related services and projects are linked throughout the site, creating a more intuitive browsing experience and encouraging visitors to explore more of the company’s work.

My role:
Brand development, graphic and web design.
